‘What’s Hot with Peer Researchers?

Training Peer Researchers: To the task or for the future?

Hosted by James Watson

Wednesday, February 24th @ 2pm EST

A research team can only be successful with well-trained peer researchers in any role (e.g. governance, data collection, analysis etc.). But, do we train for the task that one time or for a future? What future is there for peer researchers?

This 12th edition of “What’s Hot” is all about training:

  • Should we educate and build capacity beyond research skills?
  • Is certification a step in the right direction?
  • Do peer researchers feel supported to learn with an uncertain future?
  •  Is using technology the solution to connect and educate?

Let’s talk about this on the next “What’s Hot with Peer Researchers?”

The show will be held online using Instant Presenter. To ensure you’re able to participate, test your system’s compatibility. We encourage you to be an active participant, and you can learn how by watching this short video tutorial.
